Jonny with Pup of the Year awards presenter Shauna Lowry AN Old English sheepdog from Trowbridge beat off competition from 10,000 other pups for a chance to compete for a Pup of the Year title.
Fifteen-month-old Jonny didn't bring the title back home with him but owner Kim Reeves, from Hilperton, said she was just happy he had taken part in the competition, which was held on Thursday at The Brewery, in London.
"We don't mind that he didn't win the competition, he's done very well and was just as good as the other dogs," she said.
"He's such a lovely dog and he's brought us so much happiness."
Jonny is no stranger to competing, as he was a finalist in the Junior Stakes finals, held at The Brewery in September.
The sheepdog won round one of Thursday's competition before battling it out in the final with 30 other dogs in the mixed breed category.
Former Animal Hospital and Dream Cottage presenter Shauna Lowry helped present the awards at the show, which was jointly sponsored by Pro Plus and canine publication Dog World.
