A PROJECT to build a cinema/theatre is calling on Swindon businesses to help fund the scheme.
Kennet Valley Arts Trust is raising money to build the Riverbank arts complex in Marlborough and wants firms to help raise £4.5 million.
It is hoped the project will attract theatre-goers and arts lovers from across the Swindon area.
The final plans have been submitted to Kennet District Council and include a caf bar and an auditorium for 300 people, as well as a studio.
Trust director Rosie Hill said: "Riverbank will become a cultural and social focus for the Swindon area."
