STEFANI Miglioranzi has a simple message for his manager ahead of Blackpool's visit today, 'I'm ready to play and could run all day boss'!

That will be music to the ears of Andy King who has been without the services of his influential midfielder for almost four months.

Miglioranzi is raring to go and feels fitter than he's ever done.

He came through Friday's training session without a hitch and if the call comes today, he will happily answer it.

Town's No 10 said: "I feel pretty good although I've a bruised ankle from the reserve game where the guy's caught me the other day.

"It's nothing to worry about I don't think and I've told the gaffer that I am ready for selection if he sees fit to play me.

"I'm as fit as I've ever been. I've been working hard and I think it has paid off. It's just that specific football fitness is a bit different.

"The changing direction, the short sprints and things like that take time but I think I could run all day."

Faith as much as physiotherapy has played a strong part in the healing process.

The 27-year-old said: "My faith in God keeps me strong through adversity.

"It's always tough thinking why has this happened to me and you search for explanations.

"At the end of the day though God has a calming effect on me and puts things into perspective.

"You look at things happening in the outside world and you look at your own 'insignificant injury."

Back to football rather than faith and the bad news for Blackpool is Miglioranzi's 'familiar' scoring knack.

He rifled in a cracking strike in a 1-1 draw with the Seasiders two years ago and isn't ruling out another net-buster.

He said: "I always seem to score against teams I've scored against before."

With Miglioranzi back on board King feels there is still everything to play for.

He said: "My target is still the play-offs although I think first or second place is totally out of reach."

King tried and failed again to strengthen his squad yesterday.

He said: "I had a call on Friday morning saying the player I wanted didn't want to come as things are in limbo at his club and I didn't get a reply at all on my other inquiry."
