ON an afternoon of precious few shocks, it was left to Cricklade to assume the role of giant killers.
The Wilts League side stunned Screwfix Premier counterparts Melksham to win 5-2 at the Conigre.
Delighted Cricklade boss Graham Jackson said: "It was never going to be easy taking on a side from a couple of divisions higher but the lads played really well.
"Make no mistake, it wasn't a fluke result the side deserved their victory and dominated the game for long spells."
Strikers Ian Ross and Ben Carter both netted to give Cricklade a deserved two-goal cushion.
Adam Gingell pulled a goal back but Ross restored the advantage before half-time.
John O'Meara reduced arrears again only for Martin Swaddon and Carter to put the outcome beyond doubt.
The remaining second round games went to form, with Corsham beating Pewsey Vale 2-0 at Southbank.
Nobby Bush's experimental side survived an early scare when Craig Chaplin saved Tom Ritchie's 13th-minute penalty.
Just 90 seconds later Alan Webb put the home side in front.
John Eldred rounded Pewsey keeper Dan Holcroft to make the game safe midway through the second half.
Calne were also 2-0 winners against Wessex League strugglers Downton thanks to Matt Pratley's second-half brace.
In the other ties, Malmesbury Vics were beaten 2-1 at home by Bemerton, Marlborough lost 2-0 to Westbury and holders Trowbridge won 1-0 at Amesbury.
Biddestone picked up a decent point in a 1-1 home draw with Cadbury Heath in Screwfix Division One.
