SUFFERERS of ME are invited to join a support group in Swindon.
Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month, except in January and August, between 7.30pm and 9pm at the Broadgreen Community Centre in Salisbury Street.
The disabling illness, which until recently was dismissed by many health experts, affects 150,000 people in the UK.
It is characterised by extreme fatigue, flu-like symptoms, sore throat, muscle pain, concentration problems, poor memory and digestion problems.
For more information call the Swindon Carers Centre on 01793 531133.
