STAFF and pupils at a Swindon primary school are enjoying life in their brand new classrooms.
St Francis CofE school, in Taw Hill, officially opened in September last year.
But the school had to make do with temporary classrooms until the builders moved out.
The new classrooms opened this month.
The Reverend Ruth Cram who was heavily involved in the project, said staff and pupils are settling in well.
"The progress that we've made is absolutely brilliant," she said.
"The classrooms are stunning.
"We have an excellent team of teachers here and everyone is looking forward to a successful year ahead."
As a measure of high standards, the school, which started with 119 pupils, has seen numbers increase.
Heateacher Clive Westall said the school had started with a blank sheet and now had a team of experienced teachers from Swindon and outside the area.
