SWINDON Town Ladies faced an organised Cardiff side and ended up on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline.

Cardiff piled on the pressure early on in the game with a header going inches wide in the first five minutes.

Swindon failed to capitalise on their few breaks and were lucky to be 0-0 at the break after goalkeeper Jody Steennart made a good save.

Cardiff continued to pile on the pressure in the second half but Swindon held out until 70 minutes.

And it was a goal-mouth scramble that brought Cardiff's first goal, Hayley Greening getting the final touch.

Laura Morgan went close for Swindon with a long-range effort before Cardiff went further ahead.

And in the final minutes another goal-mouth scramble ended up in the Swindon net to make the final score 3-0.
