Chippenham 2nd booked a place in the Dorset & Wilts 2nd XV Vase final with a 17-8 win over their Salisbury counterparts.
Chippenham started impressively with scrum-half Tim Dunford setting up flanker Dan Shuker for a first try, converted by Trevor Lloyd.
The side increased their lead soon after as inside centre Matt Spurway, released by Lloyd burst through to touch down by the posts.
Lloyd stepped up again to slot the conversion.
Salisbury responded with a penalty but a Lloyd drop-goal gave Chippenham a 17-3 lead at the break.
In a stop-start second half, Salisbury grabbed an unconverted try but that was to be their only joy.
CHIPPENHAM 3rd slipped to a 26-5 defeat against Avon 2nd in their latest Bath Combination Merit Table outing.
Chippenham scored first from an Andy Williamson chip, Justin Knight feeding skipper Ian Bannister for the score, but the Bath side hit back with four tries of their own.
