A LECTURE in Liddington next week is sold out.
Mountaineer and skydiver Nigel Gifford will give a talk entitled From Here to Everest and Beyond at Liddington Village Hall on Monday.
The event is being organised by the Royal Geographical Society western region.
A GARDENING club has announced a programme of events for the next year.
The Lawn Gardening Club's timetable starts today with a talk from Martin Hambridge about parks and green spaces, natural environment, local nature reserves and other special places.
On February 15 there will be a quiz evening, and in March, Bjorn Watson will give an insight into the design and construction of the Eden Project.
Events and meetings are held in the hall at Lawn Community Centre, Guilford Avenue.
