VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed to help plant daffodils and tulips bulbs.
The Buckhurst Field Project has been given thousands of daffodil and tulip bulbs which need to be planted straight away.
The Junior Street Wardens will be helping to plant the bulbs on Saturday from 10am to midday.
They need help out because the area, a large field at the back of New College in Queen's Drive, is extensive.
John Brownlee, from the project, said: "If we can get all these bulbs planted it will help to turn this area into a better place for everyone.
"Please just turn up at the new children's play area and basketball pitch with your own spade or fork at 10am on Saturday and help enhance your own area."
