Ref. 75652-114THREE Year 11 pupils spoke of how they remember the school at the time when it was put into special measures and before Steve Flavin took over.
Sixteen-year-old Joe Hansard said: "There used to be a lot more kids just messing around in class.
"The school has a lot more of an educational feel now.
"You learn a lot more in lessons."
Josh Tollafield, 16, said: "I used to feel a bit uncomfortable walking around the corridors.
"Everyone is a lot nicer now.
"The building is a lot nicer now too it all looks newer."
Becki Jones, 16, said: "The teachers are a lot better now they actually push us to do stuff and tell us that if we work hard we'll get a better education.
"They are friendlier now too and easier to get on with."
