HAVE I missed something in the last few months?
I have just read the Advertiser dated Monday, January 10 about the planned expansion of Swindon with 24,000 new houses to be built, as proposed by the South West Regional Assembly.
What assembly? I do not remember ever being asked to vote for a regional assembly, like they were up north which was voted out by the people.
Or are we not to get a vote but just have it brought in by stealth, which seems to be the favourite way of doing things by this Government.
It seems that what Prescott can't get voted in will be foisted on us anyway, whether we want it or not.
I wonder when we will have to start paying for more bureaucrats, or have we started already?
