MIDFIELD general Mark Badman says he has a lot to do if he wants to get back into the Chippenham first team.
He came on as a late substitute against Dunstable on Saturday and pulled through his first 90 minutes since October against on Tuesday.
But the playmaker does not feel he did enough to warrant a start in the vital Southern League Premier match against Hednesford on Saturday.
He said: "I need to improve my sharpness, I'm not back to my full form."
Badman, 24, ran his heart out against Cirencester and looked like a player with a point to prove.
He made three crunching tackles as he attempted to let Steve White know he wants his midfield spot back.
Badman, who admitted to being exhausted after the game, said: "I always try my absolute hardest and have been a tough tackler. But I still did not do as well as I wanted and do not expect to get back in yet.
"It was great to start a game again and I enjoyed myself out there."
