TROWBRIDGE LEAGUE: WESTBURY United A start Saturday's Division Two Cup second leg as favourites to become the first finalists of the season.
Jamie Hibbs, Stuart Barber and Tim Somerfield carved out a three-goal first leg lead before a Paul Farion penalty gave The Lamb Inn some hope of retrieving the deficit.
In the league, the end of Heytesbury's 52-year-old top flight reign took a step closer in a 7-1 hammering by fellow strugglers Freshford United.
Steve Richardson's side never recovered from two early goals and found themselves five down at the break through Paul Mockridge, Neil Birleson, Tony Brett, Dave Birleson and Stuart Arnold.
A last kick effort from Darren MacDuff was Heytesbury's only consolation after Mockridge and Neil Birleson had struck again.
A goalless affair in an immediate return against Warminster Town Reserves was sufficient for Seend United to share joint second place at the top in a match in which both sides missed penalties.
Paul Colborne in goal for the first time this season for Town saved Mark Newman's spot kick before Andy Parmenter blazed his penalty over the bar.
Seend's second string are a point clear in second place in Division Two after a 2-2 stalemate at Hilperton.
