SUPERMARINE transfer target Matt Pratley grabbed both the goals in this hard fought clash
The prolific striker, who rejected a move to the Southern League side this week, netted both goals early in the second half after Calne had struggled to get into the game.
But despite going through, boss Kelvin Highmore does not consider the cup his priority and fears a fixture build up towards the end of the season.
He said: "We don't want to be playing catch up with Radstock and Willand. I would rather the points in the bag and not games in hand."
Willand played in the Screwfix on Saturday and went above Radstock and Calne at the top of the First Division.
With Calne now in the draw for the quarter-finals of the Wiltshire Cup, they will have to rearrange their fixture with Shepton Mallet on February 12.
They were supposed to play Chard last Saturday but that will be played at a later date.
Highmore admits that cup runs do have their benefits and was delighted his side were the victors against a team he described as tough.
"We made hard work of the game and were almost a goal down at half time if Paul Haines had not pulled off a terrific save."
Haines played his first game for Calne as Gareth Evans was cup tied. He was due to have an arm operation in September and stepped out of the side, but the operation was cancelled and he returned to the club before Christmas.
His all important double save came in the first half when striker Kevin Thick carved the defence open single handedly, but saw both his shots blocked by the debutant.
After a half time ticking off from Highmore, Calne emerged determined to put the game away early. They opened their account and killed the contest within the first 15 minutes of the second period.
The opener came on 51 minutes when midfielder Robbie Lardner tore away from the centre circle and down the right hand side.
His low cross deflected off a defender to Pratley who tapped into an empty net.
Just before the hour mark Calne ended a torrid spell for the visiting side with the second goal.
Winger James Lye's fine chip found Gary Banks near the by-line. His cross flashed across the face of the goal for Pratley to blast in from five yards out.
