A YOGA workshop has been organised to raise money for the tsunami appeal.

Integral yoga teacher Stephan Trefzer and Dawn Cole, an Ashtanga expert, have teamed up to present a workshop for beginners and improvers at Ramleaze Hall in Shaw Village Centre on Saturday, February 12, between 10am and 2pm.

Because Ridge Green Medical Centre has donated the hall for the day all money raised can go directly to the appeal.

Stephan, who runs the Integral Yoga Centre in Swindon, said: "Yoga is a comprehensive system for purifying, strengthening, and harmonising all aspects of the individual physical, mental, intellectual social, and spiritual.

"In this day course we explore the science of yoga specifically the aspect of the practice of postures, asanas and experience the effects. We will be covering both styles of yoga, so that those who have done Ashtanga yoga will see some of the poses from a different tradition."

Spaces are limited to 12 people and anyone interested in booking a place or finding out more can call 01793 700659 or 07887 535766.
