16459/5A FARM bed and breakfast has scooped its second tourism award in six months. Helen Rawlings, 38, who runs a B&B from Great Ashley Farm, Bradford on Avon, won the gold VisitBritain award for quality and service to guests.
In the summer the farm won the bronze award in the B&B category of the Taste of the West Food and Drink Awards 2004 for Wiltshire.
She said: "We pride ourselves on the fact that we not only offer our guests an excellent standard of accommodation but also a superb breakfast menu using locally sourced produce, great hospitality and service without inflating the prices."
Together with her husband Alex, 39, she has been operating the B&B from the farm for seven years. Some of the favourites on the breakfast menu are homemade pancakes with syrup and oven baked savoury muffins and locally produced bacon and eggs from the farm.
She will be helping local cookery writer Jaqueline Quemades with recipe testing for her new book, Breakfast and Brunch.
