Asa FreemanA 32-YEAR-OLD man remains on a life support machine after a street assault in Trowbridge.
Police mounted a witness appeal on Saturday night, exactly a week after Asa Freeman was attacked in Silver Street.
Four teenagers appeared before Swindon Crown Court in connection with the incident on Monday.
Paolo Rossi, 19, Lee Frisby, Shane Flexon and Joel Bailey, all 18, are charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Mr Freeman on January 8.
The four, all from Trowbridge, are also accused of affray and Rossi and Flexon each face a charge of actual bodily harm against Mr Freeman's friend, Jason Delaney.

The four teenagers have not entered pleas and were released on conditional bail. The case has been adjourned to April 25.
