SHRIVENHAM'S long list of absentees is finally dwindling just in time for a shot at the Division One West title.
Alan Dyton has had at least half a dozen players missing for just about every fixture this season but his squad is nearing full strength at last ahead of tomorrow's promotion showdown with Tytherington at the Rec.
It is testament to Shrivvy's strength in depth that they have been able to hang on to the tails of the leaders despite availability woes and they can now go top with victory over Tytherington.
Two points separate the top four at present and with Trowbridge and Kidlington inactive, victory for Shrivvy in fourth, or their third-placed visitors will see the triumphant club climb to the summit.
"There is a massive incentive for both sides in this game as the winner will go to the top of the league," said Dyton.
"The first half of the season has been the worst I can remember for players not being available for one reason or another, so we have done really well to stay in contention."
Andy Rainer (hernia) and Rich Tilling (back injury) are now the only Shrivenham players in a less crowded treatment room.
Mark Peters, Steve Avenell and Russ Byrne all return.
Elsewhere, Cirencester United host Quarry Nomads with a complete compliment of players, while improving Malmesbury Vics travel to Harrow Hill and revitalised Purton go to Adderbury.
