BRIAN Hughes and his Cirencester players are chomping at the bit to tackle fellow Premier Division title chasers Histon.
The Centurions have played just one league game since the third of January and are raring to go after an enforced mid-season break.
Ciren defeated Histon 2-0 on the first day of the season, but Hughes still tipped the Cambridgeshire outfit to push for honours.
Five months on and Histon are widely considered favourites for the crown.
"I said at the start of the season that Histon would be in the mix up and I've be proved right," said Hughes.
"But if there was ever a good time to go there this is it. We've only played once in the last three weeks and we're hungry for it.
"We're on the run-in now. No prizes will be given after this game but it would be nice to win."
Neil Arndale (groin) and Darren Robison (hamstring) are still out, along with Adam Mayo who is in the middle of a three-match ban.
Both clubs are battling to get on terms with current leaders Chippenham who travel to FA Trophy holders Hednesford.
After giving some of his frustrated bench-warmers a run out in the 2-1 League Cup victory over Ciren on Tuesday night, manager Steve White is likely to revert to the side which has secured three successive Premier Division wins to put the Bluebirds two points clear of Merthyr at the top.
