Ref. 74059-64A Liden labourer has his TV debut tomorrow night.
Carl Sharp is Canadian rocker Bryan Adams for Stars in Their Eyes on ITV at 7.10pm.
Carl, 22, will sing 1984 hit Summer of 69 on the show, hosted by Cat Deeley. His mum Debbie, who with dad Nick runs the Liden Arms, entered Carl secretly by pretending she wanted to send a CD to a friend in America.
She is planning a party to celebrate his moment of fame.
Debbie said: "We'll be showing it on the big screen and then straight after the band that he plays with, Locomotion, will be performing.
"We can't wait now. We've had people ringing up saying they have spotted him on the adverts for TV. We're really looking forward to it."
Carl will be up against a fake Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, and a bogus Justin Hawkins from the Darkness.
