ACTRESS Brenda Blethyn is to replace Ricky Tomlinson as the face of British Gas.
The Secrets and Lies star will appear in a new series of adverts playing a supervisor at the company's training academy. Tomlinson's one-year contract is up and British Gas bosses decided they wanted a female face.
