PARISHIONERS in Highworth are to be asked whether they want St Michael's Church redecorated.
The roof was repaired last year, but now attention is turning to improving the interior of the 13th century building.
Church warden Peter Hinton said: "We would like to colourwash the walls, clean tablets and carry out general redecoration.
"Before plans are drawn up the congregation will be asked to comment on what they would like to see."
A survey is also underway to find out the cost of repairing damp problems which have been affecting the fabric of the church.
