Ref. 75712-19TWO children's authors have given youngsters at a Swindon school an injection of imagination.
Authors Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore visited Lainesmead Primary School last week to meet the children and offer tips on better story writing.
Headteacher Jeannette Turner said: "The two Steves have been really firing up the children's imaginations. They have been enchanted by them.
"They're both very funny and really know how to talk and get the children working.
"Already one of my teachers has said they wanted to adopt some of their ideas and use them to make history lessons more fun."
Mr Barlow, who lives in Derbyshire and Mr Skidmore, who lives in Leicester, work as a double act.
They visit schools together and have produced the Outernet and Lost Diaries series of books used in classroom.
