I WAS not at all surprised to read, Vomit bug closes wards at hospital (Adver, Jan 19).
Until more nurses and auxiliary staff are made available we will read the same story again and again.
My wife was admitted to intensive care unit, where the standard of care given her was magnificent.
However when she was transferred to Saturn ward things changed for the worst.
This is the second time Saturn ward has been hit by a bug.
And I bet it won't be the last until those responsible, recruit more staff to ease the workload of the few who are struggling to do their best.
Just where is the money being spent?
