TROWBRIDGE LEAGUE: WESTBURY United A, despite a second leg shock against ten men, are the first cup finalists for the season with a 4-3 Division Two Cup semi-final aggregate victory over The Lamb Inn.

Mark Nickels increased Westbury's two-goal cushion from last week but Mark Franklin and Paul Farion hit back for The Lamb, who had goalkeeper Mark Bosworth dismissed late on.

Westbury now meet the winners of the other semi-final between FC Filos and Castle Combe.

There was another shock in the Knockout Cup, Division Two's Seend United Reserves held Division One Trowbridge United to a 2-2 draw after extra time.

Goals from Jamie Young and Paul Dittons put Trowbridge two up before Seend hit back with a Wayne Bailey penalty and Chris Bishop.

A second hat-trick of the season from John Hubbard, including a penalty, made sure Rudloe Reserves did not emulate the first team's amazing cup result from the previous week, to send the holders through to the last eight.

Liam Richard and Leigh Stevenson added further goals in a 5-0 win.

A warm-up injury to keeper Martin Cowdrey forced Adam Bishop to take over in goal but this failed to prevent Bradford United Reserves from a 3-0 Spring Cup surprise for Division Three title hopefuls Calne Eagles.

An own goal, Marc Haynes and Mike Embleton completed Bradford's victory.

Leaders St Andrews also enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 preliminary round against Bradford Town Reserves with Ewan Maynard's free kick and a Dave Greenwood penalty sealing victory following Luke Giles' first half opener.

In the league, North Bradley Saints bounced back from last week's cup horror to beat second in the table Bradford United. Bradford, who had Mark Williams sent off, suffered their first reverse in seven games through goals from Richard Blyh, Chris Gale, Ben Tardner and Jake Tane.
