GAZETTE & HERALD: DERRY HILL Primary School is getting a little help from its Friends after organising a fashion show to help raise money for a new computer suite.
A company called Sargeo Kids will be bringing its fashion show together with PA system and lights to the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill.
The Friends of Derry Hill School hope to raise over £500 from the show, on February 26.
Governor of the school, Tracy Thrower, said the children would be modelling the clothing.
"We have to raise £300 because we have to raise that for the company to do it," said Mrs Thrower.
"We are hoping every parent buys their own child's outfit and then we have a percentage of what's raised and we hope to get around £500 to £600 with a raffle.
Mrs Thrower said the school was in the process of looking into the computer suite. She said: "They are hoping it will be installed some time this term and I think they will get some funding but we have to match it."
