15184/1THREE pupils from Rowde Primary School, near Devizes, will show their skills on children's programme Razzledazzle, due for transmission next month.
Five-year-old Ben Martin and six-year-old twins Carolyne and Amanda Croft were chosen from pupils at three schools in the Devizes area to take part in the programme, due to go out on BBC2 and the Cbeebies digital channel.
Ben's mum, Rita Martin, said: "The programme is on the theme of speech and language and they had to decorate a cake and cook some runner beans.
"We're absolutely thrilled that Ben was one of those chosen.
"The researchers visited three schools in the area, so the competition was fierce."
Razzledazzle, a new literacy series from Cbeebies where children and presenters play games, make up stories, sing and dance, is due to go out from February 14.

A spokesman for the BBC said that, with the help of a new animated character Razzledazzle the programmes will encourage the development of listening, speaking, vocabulary extension and the communication of thoughts, ideas and feelings.
Ben, Carolyne and Amanda were given certificates in gratitude for their co-operation in making the programmes.
