A STRATTON woman got the star treatment when she won a competition organised by Poundland.
Cathleen Silman, from Stratton St Margaret, won a limousine ride and private shopping trip.
The lucky lady was collected from her home by luxurious limousine and chauffeur-driven to the new Poundland store in Regent Street, Swindon, where she was given £100 to spend before being delivered back to her door with bulging bags full of goodies.
Mrs Silman said: "I felt like a film star being driven around in my own limousine and then having the shop and the staff all to myself.
"I ended up with so many bags I only just managed to fit in the limousine with them all!"
Store manager Steve Gray said: "To mark the opening of our new store in Swindon we wanted to do something a little special.
"Poundland prides itself on sourcing products from around the world, offering customers unbeatable value for money."
