MP Dr Andrew Murrison is demanding a full investigation into how Lafarge workers were able to falsify cement data for over two years.
Dr Murrison hopes to "flush out answers" by writing to Lafarge, the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and environment minister Elliot Morley.
He said: "It's in everyone's interest that this is fully investigated quickly and thoroughly.
"I'm also interested to know what discussion has taken place with the police given the company's contention that this was a deliberate act.
"I imagine that the Environment Agency will wish to review the checks and balances in place at the plant given its reliance on the data that Lafarge provides."
Westbury Town Council's management committee met Lafarge representatives this week to seek assurances that other data such as emissions had not been misreported.
Mayor Horace Prickett said: "I am very disappointed there has been a falsification of data at the plant and the doubts this must raise. I can only accept these have had no impact on environmental factors and that any problems with cement quality are entirely Lafarge's responsibility."
