A THEATRE group from Melksham is hoping to convert pupils into cultured thespians after setting up a new drama school.
Curtains Up, run by Holcombe couple Tristan and Sarah Carter, launched their drama classes at Stonar School in Atworth earlier this month to the delight of students and parents.
Mrs Carter, 34, said: "It's aimed at everybody from the ages of six to 16 and has gone really well so far. Although a large number of the girls are from Stonar, we have had a lot of interest from outside.
"We do singing, dancing and acting in each group. We divide them into three age groups and aim to do a different production from term to term."
Former actor Mr Carter, 34, said: "We would like to branch out to other schools if there is the call for it and are trying to forge links with the general area itself."
