WILTSHIRE'S home care service has been rated as 'good' in its first ever inspection.
The Wiltshire County Council-run service received a positive report from the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate after an inspection at the end of last year.
The service looks after the elderly and young people with learning or physical disabilities and sees carers visit their homes several times a day or week. It provides around 126,000 hours of care a year to more than 2,500 people.
The report said: "Service users consistently reported high levels of satisfaction with the reliability and dependability of individual staff."
