WESTBURY manager Paul Brickley has said he will be appealing against Wayne Wheeler's red card on Saturday after insisting his striker "did nothing wrong."
Wheeler was dismissed along with Street's Dave Pople following a melee after Westbury had been awarded a penalty with five minutes remaining.
After a long delay, goalkeeper Tom Punchard easily saved Matt Bown's spot kick but Brickley was left confused about the whole incident.
The United boss said: "From what I could see, Wayne got sent off for falling on top of their defender after being completely wiped out.
"The penalty had already been awarded for a foul on Marc Lanfear but as the ball ran clear Wayne was taken out as well.
"He just landed on the player and they were both sent off. We will definitely be appealing against it because he has been playing well and does not deserve to get suspended for that."
Brickley said he was not too disappointed about the result because the performance proved his side were heading in the right direction.
He said: "It was a good game and a draw would have been a fair result. We had the better of the first half and missed four or five good chances. In the second half they had more of the play but we still had our chances. Matt's penalty was weakly struck but missed penalties happen in football.
Westbury started well and created the first chance when Steve Seals' cross skidded across the face of goal and just eluded the in rushing Lee Carpenter and Paul Beavers.
His opposite number, Lewis Porter, then showed his credentials with two good saves from Shane Gage and Simon Ingram.
Wayne Wheeler's 25 yard strike hit the side netting while Bown glanced a header just wide as Westbury looked to capitalise on their dominance.
After the break, the visitors were denied a penalty after Justin Tugwell appeared to handle in the penalty area.
Play was now becoming scrappy but after 69 minutes Bown again went close with a long distance effort following a quick counter attack.
Street took the lead after 75 minutes when Simon Baker combined with Adrian Foster to set up Woon who stroked the ball into the net.
Lanfear was then brought on as Westbury threw three up front in search of the equaliser and within minutes they were awarded a penalty after a foul on Lanfear.
After a five-minute delay, which saw Wheeler and Pople dismissed, Bown's penalty was pushed wide by Punchard to condemn Westbury to their first defeat in three games.
