Ref. 75809-1THE driver of a Land Rover Discovery four-wheeldrive car had a lucky escape when the car tipped over.
The motorist managed to clamber out the vehicle and walk away from the accident, which left the car on its side in the road.
The accident happened on the A4361 Wroughton to Avebury road at Broad Hinton at a cross roads near the Tom Gallagher Van Centre.
It happened shortly before 5pm yesterday, and all three emergency services were called to the scene.
By the time they arrived the driver had managed to get out of the car and only had minor injuries.
Police closed the road and diverted traffic.
Firefighters made sure the car was not in a dangerous state while recovery vehicles were sent to put the vehicle back on its wheels.
