THE majority of staff at Trowbridge-based firm InnSpired will have a new employer today when its parent company completes a sell off deal.
Owner Punch is selling 545 InnSpired pubs because a strategic review showed they did not generate enough profit.
They are being bought by Pubfolio, which will take on most of InnSpired's 50 staff who are based at its head office in Wiltshire Drive, Trowbridge.
Punch, which is the UK's second biggest operator, will keep 471 InnSpired pubs mainly in the south of England.
These generate an average profit of £52,000 compared with £29,000 at those pubs being sold.
Market analyst Nigel Popham, of stockbrokers Teather and Greenwood, said there was likely to be a significant impact from the addition of the 471-strong InnSpired estate.
