16481VEHICLE recovery specialists were put to the test in Trowbridge on Saturday after two accidents within the space of an hour.
Police were called by security workers at Airsprung, in Canal Road, just before 6am, after a car became wedged between a lamppost and some railings.
The black Nissan 200 SX, driven by a Trowbridge man, hit a lamppost and railings belonging to the recycling centre.
Specialists from Hintons Garage were called in to remove the car.
In the second incident police and the fire brigade were called to an accident at Bradford Road.
A grey BMW 325i, driven by a Trowbridge man, left the road and ploughed into a garden wall.
The car was leaking oil so the fire brigade were called in as a precaution and the road was closed.
Griffins Garage from Heytesbury towed the car away from the scene and the road was cleared by 8.30am.
No one was injured in either of the accidents.
