P&O's ill-fated cruise liner Aurora is heading for Germany for repair work likely to take twice as long as first thought.
Propulsion problems which caused the abandonment of the £200m Aurora's 103-day world cruise last week are being handled by Germany company Lloydwerft in Bremerhaven.
P&O said last week that repairs would take four to five weeks to complete.
Colin Jones, 70, of Wroughton, was one of 1,400 who filed out of the arrivals lounge at Southampton Docks last week after a battle to try and fix the £200m ship's propulsion system failed.
