75804-33SEX is encouraged in the hit reality TV show Big Brother but there will be strictly no nookie in a Swindon pub's own version of the show.
Tonight, ten contestants will be locked into the Swiss Chalet pub, Chapel Street, Gorse Hill, for 24 hours.
They will all have to abide to a strict code of practice which has ruled out any steamy behaviour, mobile phones and personal belongings.
Contestants are not allowed to fall asleep, they must join in with all tasks and they cannot leave of their own accord.
Lesley Hodge, 43, whose partner John Honeyman is the landlord, will play the role of the strict Big Brother.
"I'm looking forward to being wicked," she said. "Everything is very similar to the TV show apart from it is over a much shorter time.
"For the last two weeks my whole life has been about Big Brother. I'm always hooked to the TV show and I will be hooked to this as well.
"It's going to be a lot of fun and it's all for a good cause. We have selected the people that are taking part they are not strangers but not all of them are regulars."
Contestants will undergo a series of challenges and face the threat of eviction to help raise money for tsunami relief effort.
Part of the pub has been sealed off to the form the 'house' and cameras have been rigged up, allowing fellow drinkers to monitor the progress of the contestants.
And, just like in the hit TV series, the housemates will face trials for treats like lager and crisps.
Drinkers had to raised £100 in sponsorship to take part and staff hope to raise up to £7,000.
To ensure there is always someone watching antics in the house, a 24-hour darts marathon is being held at the same time.
And to stop others from missing the highlights, staff are planning to release a DVD of the best bits after the main event.
Fellow drinkers will decide the first evictions and hourly voting sessions will take place in the house.
Each housemate will receive a medal and a photograph and the winner will be presented with a digital camera, trophy and a bottle of champagne.
After the event, the MDF set will be put in storage. If it proves popular staff are planning to make the Big Brother-challenge an annual attraction.
