PETER Cook (Adver, Jan 20) is far too generous to Prince Harry. Like most kids growing up after the war, we all played English against the Germans, and German helmets were available at any junk shop.
However, Prince Harry is not a kid. I had already served for four years in the Army at his age.
Harry, like most of the regal family, is arrogant and lives a worthless life at our expense. The stage-managed packing of a few boxes for the Tsunami Appeal will fool no one.
Anyone who believes that Prince Harry will be treated the same as any other young officer in the army must live in cloud cuckoo land. He will do the nice bits while some other poor bloke will have to cover for him.
