WHILE I have sympathy for the family who had no water for six days while six council tradesmen attempted a repair, I feel the council were criticized unfairly.
There were so many details to ascertain.
For example was it a tap or a faucet? This would have to be examined by an aqua restraint regulator expert.
Of what ductile solid element is the tap-faucet fabricated? An metallurgist would have to ascertain what alloy.
Would a flexible union pipe be required? This would require the examination of a plumber tradeperson.
Was the size in imperial or metric? An appraisal by a specified measurement gauge conformity tradesman would be needed.
There are so many intangibles, so well done the council, it is pleasing to know we are getting good service for our council tax.
