Brian Ashton has been named as England coach for next month's A international against France in Bath.
Ashton, a member of the senior England coaching set-up during Sir Clive Woodward's reign, will be assisted by Leicester boss John Wells and Leeds coach Jon Callard.
The February 11 clash is England's solitary game at A level this season.
"This is a tremendous group of coaches to have in charge of the all-important England A game," said England head coach Andy Robinson.
Some 4,000 tickets have already been sold for the Recreation Ground fixture, with Ashton and Callard both returning to a club they once coached.
