AGAIN we read of financial problems and poor performances. There's only about 5,000 football fanatics who watch home games and probably another 5,000 interested in the club.
The rest of the 180,000 residents of Swindon don't really care.
I've been in Swindon now for 25 years and the STFC saga goes on.
STFC is a third division club and with the management over the years will always be one. There is never enough money to enter the big time.
Even when they got there poor financing and fiddling brought them back down. Do we need a professional football club in Swindon? I would think more people are concerned with the diesel spillage in Westlea than STFC losing in the LDV Trophy.
So the answer must be no.
