SWINDON Town Ladies were on the end of a 4-0 defeat away at Clevedon Town in the South West Combination.
Despite Laura Morgan testing Clevedon goalkeeper Sam Finch early on, it was the home side who took the lead.
Marcia Dean was fouled inside the box and scored the resulting spot kick to put Clevedon ahead after five minutes.
Five minutes later Clevedon doubled their lead, Tracy McKinney going on a solo run and slotting the ball home.
Swindon created a few half chances before Clevedon hit their third goal when Jodie Shepherd fired home from 40 yards.
In the second half, Michelle Rich was unlucky with a 25-yard shot and Laura Morgan broke through the home defence but Finch did well to save.
As Clevedon pushed for a fourth goal, Tara Lofts did well to make a goal-line clearance from McKinney and goalkeeper Jodie Steenaart saved Marcia Dean's shot from point-blank range.
A Michelle Rich free-kick caused problems in the Clevedon defence but Kim Reeves' header was cleared.
Claire Morton also went close to scoring but for a fine save from Finch.
With Town unable to break the deadlock, Clevedon added a fourth goal six minutes from time, Charlie Grumes scoring.
