Brunel Boys sealed the Cirencester & District Youth League under 14 title in emphatic fashion, thumping Malmesbury 8-0.

The Boys scored four goals in each half, with Gavin Lloyd bagging a hat-trick and debutant Jamie Hamill also hitting a treble. Lee Dart and Adam Devine also netted while Brunel keeper Dale Quince saved a penalty.

Elsewhere in the section, Lydiard cruised to a 7-0 win at Tetbury, with Steve Nesbitt (2), Jack Paish (2), Cris stewart (2) and Andy Butt scoring.

Ashton Keynes won 4-2 at Stratton. Shane Bumphrey (2) Marcus Muller and Ben Hopper netting for the winners with Kyle Outram and Ben Jones replying.

Wroughton triumphed by the same score at Cricklade, after taking an early lead through Shahidur Chokdar.

Cricklade levelled but Chokdar then won a penalty which Crockett converted.

Chokdar broke clear to add a third early in the second half and with five minutes left the same player completed his hat-trick.

Cricklade scored a late consolation from the spot.

Highworth won a thrilling clash on penalties against Purton to book their place in the under 16 cup final.

Highworth led on three occasions during the game but were pegged back each time and eventually needed a shoot-out to progress.

Jamie Glock latched on to a long Luke Adams clearance to fire them ahead in the third minute, but Purton levelled just seven minutes later.

Just before the break, Highworth went 2-1 up when Lorien Bardwell followed up Glock's rebounded shot to bundle the ball in.

Purton hit back on 52 minutes to restore parity, Ryan King's fine individual effort put the hosts in charge again, only for the visitors to grab a third equaliser from the penalty spot.

Both sides had chances in extra time but there were no further goals until the spot-kicks.

Adams, Glock, Stephen Ware, Jonathan Taylour and Ben Cowley netted for Highworth, with Adams saving Purton's second.
