SWINDON Conservative Coun David Renard (Haydon Wick) has criticised plans for 24-hour drinking.
He said the move would extend the binge-drinking culture and leave councils and taxpayers picking up the bill.
"I believe local people know what is best for their local community and I am determined to fight the introduction of current 24-hour drinking legislation in Swindon," he said.
