THE driver of a Land Rover escaped injury after the caravan he was towing overturned on the M4 today.
The vehicle was travelling along the eastbound carriageway when the caravan turned onto its side into the hard shoulder between Membury services and junction 14.
The accident happened at 6.45am.
Police officers from Wiltshire closed off the slow lane and officers from Thames Valley Police recovered the Land Rover and trailer.
There were some delays due to heavy traffic on the motorway at the time and the road was cleared an hour later.
