REGULARS at the Piper's Arms in Old Town are still waiting for a decision on whether live music can continue at the pub.
Members of Swindon Council's licensing sub-committee were due to decide whether to renew the Piper's live entertainment licence last night.
But they deferred the decision because an environmental health notice has been served on the pub.
The Piper's faces losing the licence after 21 complaints from residents about noise on Friday and Saturday nights.
But more than 700 band members and music fans have signed a petition pleading for the licence to be renewed.
No date has yet been set for the sub-committee to make its decision.
