TSUNAMI APPEAL: MARTIAL arts groups came together to raise money for the appeal.
Children and adults from three groups raised £1,600 by helping shoppers pack their bags at Asda.
They were inspired to do something to help as in Thailand the national sport is a martial art Thai boxing
The groups involved were the Tony Charles Total Martial Arts Black Belt Academy, the Lee Charles Black Belt Academy and the Tai Jutsu Kai group from Bristol.
SWINDON musicians banded together at a charity gig to raise £409 for quake survivors.
Students from The Swindon Guitar School organised the concert at The Vic in Victoria Road, Old Town, which included rock bands and acoustic sets.
Shaun Buswell along with Belarus, Latitude Blue and the Last Calm presented the money raised at the pub.
