THE Swindon Parent Panel is looking for new members to help plan local health services for parents, babies and children.
The panel, which currently has five members, was set up 12 years ago to ensure the views of ordinary parents were taken into account in local health services.
Although none of the parents has any background in the health service they help shape proposals for new services and give feedback on current services.

The panel meets about once every six weeks during school time.
Meetings last about two hours, a free crche is provided and travelling expenses are paid.
