YOUNGSTERS will have a chance to help educate councillors by taking part in an innovative drama project.
Wiltshire County Council has got together with two drama groups to produce five playlets which will be performed for new councillors after the county council elections in May.
Aspiring actors aged between 14 and 18 are now needed for the project.
They will research, write and perform the works, alongside professionals.
Wiltshire County Council has teamed up with the Big State Theatre Company and Theatre Works, an organisation that promotes theatre in Wiltshire and Swindon.
Deryck Newland, director of Theatre Works, said: "This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for young actors to get involved with a very real production and work with professional artists.
"They will learn invaluable new theatre skills and pick up some useful hints and tips from the professionals."
The actors will be chosen at a taster workshop at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge on February 15.
Anyone wanting more information should contact Theatre Works on 01793 328762.
